Novomatic’s Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, Greentube, has successfully secured an online gaming license in German. The new license will allow the company to offer offline slot machines through its StarGames brand. Gamers will get access to a variety of games on the official StarGames platform, such as the Book of Ra series and others.
Further, the acquisition of the license also means that all of Greentube’s processes on Responsible Gaming, anti-money laundering (AML), IT security, and game mechanics have been acknowledged by the Gambling Authority of the Federal States of Germany (GGL) as compliant with the Interstate Treaty 2021.
Commenting on the new milestone, the COO of Greentube, George Gubo, said that getting the license is a further testament to the quality and reliability of not just the StarGames brands but Greentube as a whole. Also, the German license is a major milestone for Greentube, and the company is extremely proud that the regulatory authorities deemed our application successful.
“Our goal was to create a product of the highest quality, one that customers would not only enjoy playing but also feel safeguarded by while doing so. With StarGames.de, we feel we have a brand and a website that goes above and beyond to ensure we offer players the best place for safe and secure entertainment in Germany.”
