DraftKings has launched a 24/7 channel on Samsung TV Plus. The DraftKings Network will be available on Samsung’s free ad-supported TV Service (FAST). With this deal, DraftKings will become the first US-based sportsbook to launch a 24/7 FAST Channel on Samsung’s streaming service.
The Samsung TV Plus app is pre-installed in all Samsung TV brands produced between 2016 and 2023. It is also integrated into several Samsung devices, including smartphones and tablets.
Back in 2022, DraftKings partnered with ESPN, a move that shows the operator’s commitment to increasing its customer base. The new DraftKings Network will focus on programs showcasing a range of voices in the sports world.
Stacie McCollum, VP, Content at DraftKings, said: “In bringing together some of the most authentic sports and entertainment voices under one umbrella, DraftKings Network is the destination for ‘In on the Action’ sports fans and content they love.
“We look forward to reaching fans with our deep roster of independent, credible, and relatable voices that resonate with sports fans and the sports betting community.”
The announcement of DraftKings Network on Samsung TV Plus comes barely two weeks after the company released its outstanding Q1 results for 2023. DraftKings recorded a total net revenue of $769.6m, which is higher by 84% compared to the Q1 of 2022.
