“We are thrilled to be back at Down Royal sponsoring this year’s Summer Festival of Racing. Last year was a fantastic event, and we are looking forward to welcoming racegoers back to what we know will be a great weekend of racing.”
Sharon McHugh, Head of PR and Sponsorship at BoyleSports.
She added that the new partnership with Down Royal shows their continued investment in Northern Ireland in local horse racing, and it reinforces the support for the sport, horse owners, trainers, and participating jockeys. The partnership will help promote the bookmaker and broaden its presence in the Northern Ireland annual racing calendar.
The Ulster Derby (Premier Handicap) and The BoyleSports Ulster Oaks will take place at Down Royal on the second day of the Listburn event – with a total prize fund of £170,000.
“We’re delighted to welcome BoyleSports back to Down Royal with an extended three-year partnership spanning from 2023-2025,” said Emmah Meehan, Chiefs Executive of Don Royal Racecourse.
The 2022 Summer Festival was a big success, and the operator looks forward to an exceptional two days event of full-charged racing.
